Tertiary Mobilising Units for Retained Firefighter Callout Systems

TMU   Tertiary mobilising units are designed to active the RFCS-2 when all other means of communication have failed. Connected directly to the RFCS-2 and sharing its power source, means the combined unit is totally independent of any other item of Fire Station equipment.

The TMU2 is activated by a simple, low cost public network pager or if the Brigade has its own Private Wide Area Paging system, a pager on that network is even better.

There are four, selectively called, low current relay outputs from the TMU 2. These may be used to activate the RFCS-2 and call up to four teams of firefighters.

Alternatively, one relay might be used to call a Fire Team and others might be used to switch other station equipment.

The TMU2, of course, will interface with any MG-4 complient mobilising base station.
