Digital Paging Encoder
PIC – microprocessor controlled management system provides more precise supervision and operation bringing major benefits: -
- Additional teams added to facilitate mobilising according to incident type and firefighter skill set
- Faster verification of calls, approximately T+2 seconds where T is the time the call arrives at the Fire Station.
- Automatic reset if certain supervisory conditions are not met (reset time 0.5 seconds)
- Non-volatile diagnostic log records all events, sequentially, over approximately a seven-day period.
- Intelligent power management now incorporated within the 2U enclosure.
- Mains fail message repeated at programmable intervals.
- Low battery alarm given at 50% battery capacity remaining
- Visual indication on front panel of mains failure and eventually, low battery
- Battery support in excess of 36 hours at Home Office (MG-4) specification regime – 30 calls in 24 hours, that’s a call every 48 minutes. In more practical terms, battery support is up to 100 hours.
